iOS 16.0.3 update fixes iPhone 14 Slow Camera, Notifications, Microphone Volume & Mail Crash problems

Apple has released an iOS 16.0.3 update to fix users’ issues with iPhones, especially the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Pro. iOS 16, which comes with the series, has been a buggy mess since Apple launched the iPhone 14 series last month. Users have faced many issues with their devices since they were shipped. The problem is with this year’s iOS 16 and the devices running on it; the more cursed one is, especially the iPhone 14 series.

Every year, Apple comes with a subsequent update to enroll more new features to their recently launched devices. The iOS 16 is a new Operating System on which this year’s iPhones rely. But apart from the features it comes with, several bugs also arrive.

The issues like flickering screen with low brightness, stuttering in some applications, green lines appearing, rapid battery drain, connectivity issues, frequent call and signal drops, carplay issues, rear camera creating mechanical noises, etc., are all witnessed by the users since the iOS 16 roll out to the respective devices. However, Apple has released two updates to wipe out the issues: iOS 16.0.1 and iOS 16.0.2, which fixed most problems. Still, some issues are yet to be resolved. For that, the iOS 16.0.3 update is out.

iOS 16.0.3 has been released, which solves the issues with the iPhone 14 series:

Today, Apple has released an update to the issues that annoy users, especially the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro. The update size is about 1.0 GB, which fixes the following issues:

  • Notifications delayed or not arriving, especially on the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, have been fixed.
  • Some iPhone 14 series models experience low microphone volume on phone calls through Apple CarPlay. The issue is now resolved.
  • The camera app performing slowly and stuttering when switching through different modes, especially on the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, is also fixed.
  • Mail application crashes during startup when the user receives a ‘malformed’ email. The update also resolves the issue.

Apart from the above fixes, there are security updates for your iPhone with the firmware OTA update. You can update your device by heading to Settings, then General; you can check by tapping on Software Update. If the update is available, you can download and install it to eliminate the issues and enjoy your device’s smooth performance.
