Google Pixel 4a gets NCC certification; Reveals 18W fast charging & 3140 mAh battery

After FCC, IMDA and BIS certification, Google Pixel 4a has picked up one more necessary certification. On June 30, G025J model which is believed to be Google Pixel 4a has received Taiwan's NCC certification. The NCC listing mentions charger model numbers as Google/TC G1001-US and Google/G1000-US. Battery model numbers are also listed as Google/G025J-B(Li-ion, ATL cell) and Google/G025J-B(Li-ion, Lishen cell). The Google/G1000-US charger supports 5V / 3A and 9V / 2A output. So, Google Pixel 4a will likely arrive with 18W fast charging support. Also, when we checked the TUV Rheinland certification database, it shows Google Pixel 4a's battery model as G025J-B with 3140mAh (typical) / 3080mAh (rated) capacity.

Google has not announced anything about the launch timeline. As the device has received certifications from multiple platforms, so we can expect Google Pixel 4a will be launched very soon.
