Recently, the Chinese smartphone company launched its latest version of MIUI. This beautiful and customizable UI is known as MIUI 12. Xiaomi users are getting crazy about MIUI 12 all over the world. Redmi Note 7 users are all ready to experience the new features of the latest MIUI 12.
Till now, the Redmi Note 7 users still haven’t got the Android 10 update. The developers have been testing the Android 10 for Redmi Note 7 since January, and people are frustrated why it is taking so long. While the other Xiaomi smartphone users picked up the update, the Redmi Note 7 users are still distressed. In a recent MI community post, a moderator replied to a user’s query about the ETA of the Android 10 update for Redmi Note 7. The moderator stated that the device may get updated at the end of April or in the middle of May.
We passed the end of April and are currently in May month, and still no sign of the update. However, a ray of hope is seen when one of the moderators replies to a user’s distress about the current status of the update. The moderator replies that the MIUI 12 may tag along with the Android 10. Moreover, he mentions that Android 10 is still under development, and they cannot tell an official date for the launch.
Since Redmi Note 7 is already confirmed for the MIUI 12 in an official list, it is pretty fair that the company wants to update the device to Android 10 alongside the latest MIUI. As we all know about the global pandemic, all companies are in anguish and cannot work properly on the updates, so it may take longer than usual.
