LG X4 Smartphone Launched With Support for LG Pay

Korean smartphone manufacturer LG launched the LG X4+ earlier in January. The company has now launched another smartphone in the ‘X’ series. Dubbed as LG X4, the device comes with model number LM-X410S.

The device sports an old-age display with a regular design compared to the 18:9 full-screen smartphones available in the budget segment. It measures 148.6 x 75.1 x 8.6 mm and weighs 164 grams. Currently available in Black and Gold color variants, the device sports a fingerprint sensor at the rear. The fingerprint also allows multiple features like taking a screenshot or taking photos.

As for the specs, the LG X4 features a 5.3-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.4 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 and Adreno 308 GPU. It is coupled with 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB of internal storage with expandable memory options by a micro SD card up to 2 TB.

In the optics department, the smartphone sports an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash while offering a 5 MP camera in the front for selfies and video calling. It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. Additional features include LG Pay, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM Radio, and HD DMB TV. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, micro-USB, and more.

Currently, the LG X4 is priced at 2,97,000 won (Rs 17,500 approx), which is put against smartphones like OPPO F5, Honor 7X, and Xiaomi Mi A1, all offering better specs and twice the RAM. It is currently available in South Korea and supports all three domestic major carriers- SKT, LGU+, and KT in Korea.
