Earlier, we reviewed the top 5G smartphones of 2021 from the Chinese company Realme, a sub-brand of Oppo. Now Poco, a sub-brand of Xiaomi and a standalone company has put its foot in the game and announced varieties of 5G Poco phones. Though India hasn’t got the 5G networks yet, Poco wants to cover as much area as possible. They want to put a 5G smartphone on every customer before even the global launch of 5G networks so that they can enjoy it right away. For your convenience, we have put together a list of the 5G smartphones of 2021 (including upcoming) from the Poco brand.

Best Poco 5G Phones for 2022

1. Poco F3

Poco F3 sports a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with a 360Hz touch response. It is powered by the 3.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset paired with 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The phone packs Android 11-based MIUI 12 skin out of the box. We get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The device draws power from a 4520 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It costs EUR 349 for a 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM option.

2. Poco F2 Pro

The Poco F2 Pro specs include a display of 6.67 inches (1080 x 2400 pixels), a Super AMOLED display with HDR10+, and 500 nits brightness. The front and back of the device are protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and come in an aluminum frame. Coming to the brain of the device, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with a 7nm chipset. It is an Octa-core processor, and for gaming, it has an Adreno 650.

Android 10 runs the Poco F2 Pro and has the latest MIUI 12. Coming to memory and storage, the device comes in two variants- 6GB LPDDR4X RAM coupled with 128GB internal storage and 8GB LPDDR5 RAM paired with 256GB storage. Sadly, both variants can’t be expanded since there is no card slot. Furthermore, for faster read and write speeds, it has UFS 3.1.

For the optics, the rear has four lenses: 64MP (wide) + 5MP (telephoto macro) + 13MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (depth), and the front has a 20MP wide lens, which is a motorized pop-up camera. Interestingly, you can record up to 8K videos @24/30 fps with the rear one.

For privacy and security, the device comes with an in-display fingerprint and optical unlocking. It has a basic Li-Po 4700 mAh and has Fast charging 30W, Quick Charge 4+, and USB Power delivery support. Also, they claim that it can charge your phone up to 100% in 63 min.

The Poco F2 Pro was launched on May 12, 2020. The chances for the India launch are slim. But if it launches, the prices could be around Rs. 35,000 for the 6GB+128GB variant.

3. Poco M3 Pro 5G

Poco M3 Pro is a mid-range 5G smartphone from Poco. It packs a 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset, and 5000mAh (Typical) battery with 18W fast charging. It boots Android 11 with MIUI 12 skin on top of it. It has a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The Poco M3 Pro 5G has three color variants – Power Black, Cool Blue, and POCO Yellow. The handset costs Rs 13999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version.
