Motorola launched the Moto G84 5G in September 2023. Now, it appears its successor, the Moto G85 5G, is on the way.
We have spotted a new Motorola smartphone called Moto G85 5G on a European retailer’s website.
The European retailer has listed the Moto G85 5G, with the 12GB+256GB configuration carrying a price tag of around €300. This is comparable to the launch price of €299.99 for the Moto G84 5G. This suggests a launch price strategy similar to its predecessor.
As of now, Motorola itself has not shared any information on the Moto G85 5G. With retail listings already appearing, a launch date could be around the corner, possibly in the second half of 2024.
Regarding its predecessor’s specs, Moto G84 5G boasted a 6.55-inch FHD+ 10-bit pOLED display with 2400×1080 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
It packed Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 6nm 5G chipset with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB (UFS 2.2) storage.
The cameras featured a 50MP rear unit with f/1.9 aperture, an OIS + an 8MP ultra-wide unit with f/2.2 aperture + a 16MP front-facing camera.
It packed a 5000mAh battery with 30W charging support.
We are excited to see what upgrade Motorola brings to the camera, performance, battery life, and display in the upcoming Moto G85 5G.
