MediaTek, the Taiwan-based semiconductor company is known for its best mid-range smartphone chipsets. They have introduced the Dimensity series to bring 5G for all budget segments. We have seen their Dimensity 1200, 1100, and 1000 flagship chipsets for premium 5G smartphones. In addition, Dimensity 900, 800U, and 800 are designed for mid-range 5G handsets. Now, they have announced Dimensity 700 and 720 SoCs for the most affordable 5G smartphones. In this article, you will find all smartphones that use Dimensity 700 MT6833 chipset.

MediaTek Dimensity 700 Features

The MediaTek Dimensity 700 sits below the Dimensity 720. It is a 7nm chipset with an integrated 5G modem that provides 5G Carrier Aggregation (2CC 5G-CA), SA/NSA modes, and Dual 5G SIM. The octa-core SoC has two ARM Cortex-A76 large cores that run up to 2.2GHz while the remaining six ARM Cortex-A55 small cores are clocked at 2.0GHz.

In terms of GPU, we see Mali-G57 MC2 (max frequency 950MHz) coupled with 2133MHz LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 dual-lane storage to offer a better gaming experience. The Dimensity 700 comes with 5G UltraSave that offer power-saving technologies to improve battery life. It offers up to 2K video encoding at a frame rate of 30 frames per second.

The SoC can offer smooth 90Hz refresh rate displays with FullHD+ (2520 x 1080) resolution to provide a better user experience in the display department. For photography, an image signal processor (ISP) provides support for 48MP or 64MP main sensors along with AI-bokeh, -colour, -beauty etc. The maximum Camera ISP is 16MP + 16MP/ 64MP. Other camera features include multi-Frame NR, 3D Noise Reduction, and Depth Engine. The chip also brings multiple voice assistant support globally such as Baidu, Tencent, Alibaba, Google, Amazon, and other localized services. Additionally, it arrives with Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NavIC, GPS, BeiDou, Glonass and Galileo support.
