Qualcomm has launched numerous chipsets this 2020 starting from basic, medium-ranged SoCs all the way to the flagship Snapdragon 888. Qualcomm recently announced a new chipset in their 600-series. The last time they launched a 600-series chipset was two years back which was the Snapdragon 675. The successor SoC is known as the Snapdragon 678. Though the core management is identical to the previous one there is a slight difference in the clock speeds of the CPU. Furthermore, it has some additional features which we have discussed below. Several manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Realme, Nokia will likely bring Snapdragon 678 powered phones by Q2 2021. Without further ado, let’s hop into the article.
