Qualcomm released a slew of new Snapdragon chipsets in recent weeks, including the Snapdragon 778G+, 480+, 680, and Snapdragon 690 chipsets. The Snapdragon 680 chipset is the only one that supports 4G networks. It has some intriguing specifications, and the smartphone has been added to the list of devices that will be released with the following chipset. Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 features
When it comes to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset’s features and specifications, it’s a 6nm fabrication technology chipset. It is an octa-core chipset with 2.4GHz Kryo 265 (performance) (CA73) + Kryo 265 (efficiency) (CA53) CPUs. The Qualcomm Adreno 610 GPU is in charge of graphics. A 12-bit Qualcomm Spectra 346 ISP handles the camera and photography department, with support for up to 32 MP single camera, up to 16+16 MP dual camera, and up to 13+13+5 MP triple camera @ 30 FPS with Zero Shutter Lag and Multi-Frame Noise Reduction.
The chipset also supports displays with up to a 90Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ pixel resolution. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wave 2 with MU-MIMO 11, Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS, NavIC, GPS (L1/L5), QZSS, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C, and NFC connectivity. It also works with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

Update January 26: Redmi launched the Redmi Note 11 as the company’s latest budget smartphone for the global market. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 680 6nm Mobile Platform. The device comes in Star Blue, Twilight Blue, and Graphite Gray colors. It should be noted Redmi Note 11 4G Chinese variant launched with MediaTek Helio G88 SoC.
Update January 4: Vivo Y21T is now official in India with a Snapdragon 680, 6.58-inch 90Hz display, a large 5,000mAh battery, a 50MP triple camera module, and more. The company has launched Vivo Y32 in China with the same chipset.
Realme 9i is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 680 chipset. The leaked images and renders, along with the specifications, have already been tipped on the internet. Talking more about the device, it will flaunt a 6.6-inch 90hz FHD+ IPS LCD Display. A triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro camera at last. There will be a 16MP front-facing camera. The device will gather power from a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast wired charging. The device’s physical looks and dimensions will be similar to what we have seen in the realme GT Neo 2 5G smartphone.
Last but not least, the Vivo Y21e is the next smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G processor. The model number V2140 has been discovered on the Geekbench certification. According to the listing, the chipset may have four CPU cores running at 1.9GHz and four more running at 2.4GHz. According to the code, the Qualcomm SoC also includes an Adreno 610 GPU. These hints point to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC powering the Vivo Y21e. The device is expected to have at least 3GB of RAM and to run Android 11 out of the box.
