One UI 7 stable release for Galaxy S24 and Z series expected in March

The stable One UI 7 is currently pre-installed on the latest Galaxy S25 series. However, older Galaxy device owners are still waiting for a stable update.

As you know, One UI 7 is currently in the beta phase for older devices. The beta program started in early December last year, but only Galaxy S24 users can experience it.

If you want to try out the beta, register your Galaxy 24 for the program via the Samsung Members app, and then download and install it by going to Settings > Software update.

Last week, Samsung released beta 4 and beta 5, hinting the stable One UI 7 update rollout is just around the corner, at least for the Galaxy S24 lineup.

Reportedly, Samsung has closed the beta program, with beta 5 probably being finalized as stable. This means Samsung will not release the beta 6 as previously expected.

According to tipster @PandaFlashPro, who has a decent track record of Samsung-related information, Samsung plans to roll out the stable version of One UI 7 in March 2025. He further said that the first set of devices to receive the stable updates are the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Other rumors suggest Samsung could announce the stable One UI 7 alongside the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge, which is expected to be released in April 2025.
