Samsung has finally started rolling out the One UI 7 Beta 3 update for its Galaxy S24 lineup. This update brings some bug fixes and improvements. Right now, the update is live in Germany, but we expect it will soon be available in other countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, India, Poland, and South Korea.
The update is currently available on the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. If you are already in beta, you can check now whether the beta build is available for your phone. The build number is S921BXXU4ZXLJ for the Galaxy S24. Galaxy S24 Plus owners will see the build number S926BXXU4ZXLJ, while the high-end S24 Ultra carries the build number S928BXXU4ZXLJ.
Keep in mind that this build is part of Samsung’s beta program. That means it’s for those users who want to try out new features before the official version is out publically. At present, Samsung hasn’t shared the exact list of countries that will be eligible for this update, but it could follow the same rollout schedule as the last beta.
After installing the latest beta 3 build, many users are saying that their phones now feel smoother and also apps behave better. The update brings a few upgrades and bug fixes, which include better vertical scrolling in the app drawer so things line up more nicely.
It also makes changes to Game Booster and adds tweaks for screen playback and FPS settings. It fixes lock screen problems, which include alignment issues and missing shortcut icons.
Some adjustments on how the volume keys work when using Routine+ and tweaking to make quick panel close smooth are also part of the beta 3 update. It fixes errors in Samsung Messages that were caused when saving MMS images.
Here’s good news for those waiting for the stable build. Samsung says the stable version of One UI 7 will be available alongside the Galaxy S25, which is expected this month. However, the OneUI 7 stable rollout timeline for all eligible devices is still unknown. Perhaps it will start rolling out starting from the Galaxy S24 lineup this month, as these devices are already running beta 3.
