Waiting for One UI 7 beta 4? Samsung may release the stable version instead

Samsung is currently testing its 7th iteration of One UI Android skin. They started using the One UI skin in 2019, which replaced their previous Samsung Experience software. When One UI was first introduced, it was a design overhaul. The update was loved by many but also hated by others. Fast forwarding seven generations, Samsung has definitely reduced the number of dislikes for the UI with iterative changes.

One UI 7 has been a fairly big overhaul, and it has been one of the biggest overhauls for One UI since its debut. This might reduce the number of people who dislike Samsung’s software even further. It is going to come with brand-new animations, new icons, and a more refined design.

Stable One UI 7 instead of beta 4

Samsung has recently rolled out One UI 7 beta 3 for the Galaxy S24 line-up. It was mostly a refinement update to fix the bugs of the previous betas. Now, new information has emerged that suggests Samsung might directly release stable One UI 7 instead of beta 4.

According to TarunVats, a reliable tipster on X (formerly Twitter), the Checkfirm app shows One UI 7 stable as the next update. The tipster said no new beta builds had hit the servers since Beta 3 (ZXLJ) dropped. However, today, the One UI 7 stable build (BYA2) hit the servers.

Stable One UI 7

As of now, there is no official confirmation from Samsung, so the possibility is not 100%, but it is very likely. The company has also not confirmed when the beta program is ending. Although it is expected, it will be soon as the start was delayed.

Additionally, on a side note, One UI 7.1 for the Galaxy S25 series has appeared online. This means the company might also release One UI 7.1 alongside their new flagships, which will continue their tradition.
