Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series is right around the corner. The company has confirmed the launch event on January 22nd, 2025.
One of the standout design changes is the exceptional thin bezels on the display of the lineup. The bezels on the Galaxy S25 lineup are thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which currently has the thinnest bezels of a flat display smartphone.
However, with the launch of the new phones, we will also get new colors. According to a report at Gizmochina, they have found a couple of new shades of blue for the Galaxy S25 lineup.
The new colors are two shades of blue for the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra. For the former two, the shade will be called “Icy Blue,” and the latter will be called “Titanium Blue.” In the leaks, we see the phones inside Spigen Crystal Flex transparent protective cases.
The cases have a MagSafe-like ring on the back. This suggests the phones will also support the Qi2 magnetic wireless charging and magnetic accessories with the dedicated cases.
Some reports say the phones support Qi2 magnetic wireless charging by default without needing to rely on a dedicated accessory. Although other reports say a dedicated accessory will be required.
The magnets are an unexpected addition from Samsung. Previously, Samsung avoided magnets on phones due to their interference with the S-pen. However, as Samsung has solved the issue, it will be able to compete with brands like OnePlus and Oppo, which offer similar solutions.
