Samsung’s Next Generation Galaxy A Series Launching on December 12

Samsung Galaxy A series devices are now as popular as the Galaxy S series devices. Surely, the S series is a premium flagship series, but if the S series is something you can’t afford, then the A series is what you get with a cheaper price tag. However, some A series smartphones out there overrun the S series in terms of price, performance, and features. So basically, there is an A series device for every budget, and the more you pay, the better the device offered by Samsung. Only one S series device comes out yearly, but we saw an array of A series devices from Samsung this year. These devices are popular over the globe, and now the hype and expectations of the people for the next A series 2020 phones are more than ever.

As per some previous reports, it was confirmed that the next series of Smartphones will come in the year 2020. However, there seems to be a change of plan here as a video has been released by Samsung hinting towards an upcoming Samsung device launch event. This video popped up on Samsung’s Vietnam YouTube channel. As per the video, the device portrayed on it will launch on the 12th of December this year. So, the 2020 launch date news for the Samsung A series is inaccurate. As per some sources, the first device that Samsung might launch from the A lineup is the Samsung Galaxy A51.

In the video, we see a beautiful device with a punch-hole display to house the front camera. The positioning of the punch hole here is similar to what we see on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, which is in the center top position of the display. The video teases the new camera improvements you will see over the last generation of the A series of devices.

Now, as for the launch date, it is there at the bottom of the video. This might be a smart move from Samsung, considering the holidays are approaching. This could be just the perfect gift for your loved ones. Now, the A51 has popped up recently on many certification sites, and many new case renders have also popped up online for this upcoming device. Yes, other A series devices are also there in the leaks, unlike the A51. So, undoubtedly, this is the device we will see on the 12th of this month.

The expected specifications for A51 are a quad-camera setup on the back, a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display on the front with a punch-hole design, a 4,000 mAh battery, a 32-megapixel front camera, and the Exynos 9611 under the hood for handling all the tasks.

Eight devices are expected to launch in the A series 2020 lineup. This includes the Samsung Galaxy A21, Galaxy A31, Galaxy A41, Galaxy A51, Galaxy A61, Galaxy A71, Galaxy A81 and Galaxy A91. The price of these devices will also be in the same order as mentioned above. As of now, we have had reports suggesting S-pen support for the Galaxy A81. The Galaxy A91 is said to be launched with the Snapdragon 855 Soc and support for 45W fast charging for the same 4,000 mAh battery.
