List of Phones with Dimensity 1080 Processor

MediaTek has announced the Dimensity 1080 processor, a mid-range 5G processor that packs a serious punch. It is one of the first chipsets to feature an integrated 5G modem, and it supports both sub-6GHz and mmWave frequencies. It’s also got a powerful octa-core CPU and a capable GPU. This article will look at the Dimensity 1080 and smartphones powered by the Dimensity 1080. So, let’s get started.

MediaTek Dimensity 1080 5G Processor

The Dimensity 1080 is based on a 6nm process, and it features an octa-core CPU with two ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.6GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. The CPU is paired with a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. The chip also has MediaTek HyperEngine 3.0 Networking Engine for smoother gaming.

It also supports up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The Dimensity 1080 is one of the few smartphone chips supporting a 200MP camera. It also supports 4K HDR video recording.

The integrated 5G modem supports sub-6GHz and mmWave frequencies and is compatible with 5G NR, LTE, and WCDMA networks. It also supports dual 5G SIM, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. The Dimensity 1080 5G is a minor upgrade over the Dimensity 920 5G. However, it’s not much of an upgrade over the Dimensity 1050 5G.

Realme 10 Pro+ will launch in China on November 17, 2022, along with the realme 10 Pro. It has already received NBTC, BIS, TKDN, and EEC certifications. This suggests it will launch this year in India and Globally.

Other smartphone OEMs like Motorola, OnePlus, OPPO, Vivo, Samsung, and iQOO will soon release their Dimensity 1080-powered smartphones.

There is not much information on the list of phones powered by the Dimensity 1080 processor. Since this is a new chipset, it will take time to get more information. As a new smartphone with Dimensity 1080 is tipped or launched, we will keep updating this post.
