After 9 Beta versions, Samsung finally began rolling out the stable build of One UI 6 to the flagship Galaxy S23 lineup. As expected, the S23 flagships got it first; other phones will soon follow.
Samsung has officially unveiled the roadmap or updated release timeline for the One UI 6 launch in Europe. In the second week of November, Samsung will launch One UI 6 for several phones. They are The Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Galaxy A34 5G, A54 5G, and the S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra. Last year’s flagships are getting the update this week, the second week of November.
Note that this roadmap is a shared estimate from a community manager, EmiliaN (Access to the link has been revoked) via @saminsidernews. It’s an official roadmap, but the release dates are still estimates. The actual launch date of the updates will mostly match them, but it could come a bit earlier or later. This roadmap is only for the European regions, and we’ll get roadmaps for other regions soon.

If development goes according to plan, we can expect the One UI 6 update to land on those dates in the above table. One UI 6 contains many useful changes, especially the new wallpaper sync to focus mode. You also get a new Quick Toggle design. Accessing the Quick Toggles is easier; you can now do that with a simple swipe down from the top right. There are also new emojis, new first-party widgets, and some improvements to Samsung’s stock apps.
Once you get the update, you’ll get a notification to install the OTA update. If you didn’t get it, you can check for updates manually in the Settings app. Open the Settings app, go to About Device, and tap the Software Update button. If there are any, you can install them from this page. Tap on download and install. After your phone restarts, it’ll boot with One UI 6. If you have issues after a major Android update, we recommend a factory data reset to solve any major bugs. This will erase all your data, so you must have a backup beforehand.
