Huawei P20 Lite with 19:9 Display, Dual Rear Camera Launched

According to some reports the smartphone is already in sale in some European countries

Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei’s P20 series of the smartphone, is on the verge of launching and is full of rumour and speculations. The three devices in line are the Huawei P20, P20 Pro and P20 Lite. Now in an official confirmation, the company listed the P20 Lite smartphone in its consumer website in Poland and linked it up with e-commerce sites for the purpose of pre-ordering. According to the reports the same variant was also launched in the Czech Republic. All the three smartphones from the Huawei P20 series are officially stated to launch in Paris on March 27.

The Huawei P20 Lite was listed for sale on the company’s official website in Poland. According to the listing, the smartphone will feature a 5.84-inch FullView display with an FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2280 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It will be powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal space. There will be a dual camera (16 MP + 2 MP) setup on the rear stacked in a vertical position.

It will run EMUI 8.0 on top of Android 8.0 Oreo and will be backed by a 3,000 mAh battery. There will be three colour variants: Black, Blue, and Pink. The Pre-orders are taken with the partnership with local retailers such as Komputronik and MediaExpert and comes with a price tag of PLN 1,599 (Rs 30,000 approx).

Now, according to a report by a Czech Republic website HN cities local e-tailer Alza claims that the P20 Lite is already launched in the country before its official unveiling on March 27. The report mentions the same specs as mentioned above but reports the price to be CZK 8,999. Another Tweet from Europe shows that the user has already purchased the smartphone from an offline store in Italy. Though we can’t confirm it is genuine or fake the images do seem to resemble the leaked renders. The price of the smartphone is speculated to be EUR 369 (Rs 29,500 approx).
