Huawei Enjoy 8 and Enjoy 8 Plus Render, Specs and Price Leaked by China Telecom

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei is gearing up for the launch of two smartphones. Dubbed the Huawei Enjoy 8 and the Enjoy 8 Plus, they are the successor of the Huawei Enjoy 7 and the Enjoy 7 Plus launched in April last year. Now, Chinese Telecom has revealed the specs of both upcoming devices.

According to the listing on China Telecom’s website, The Huawei Enjoy 8 is an entry-class smartphone featuring a 5.99-inch LCD with a resolution of HD (1440 x 720 pixels). It will be powered by a 64-bit Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430. There will be two memory variants: 3 GB RAM + 32 GB internal storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage. It will also have expandable memory options with a micro SD card.

The smartphone will have a dual camera setup at the rear consisting of a 13 MP primary camera and a 2 MP secondary camera for bokeh effects. The front offers an 8 MP camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone runs EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo and is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery. Other features include Dual SIM, Wireless LAN, Bluetooth, and a fingerprint sensor at the rear.

As for the Huawei Enjoy 8 Plus, the smartphone comes with four cameras onboard. It features a 5.93-inch LCD with a resolution of FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels). Under the hood, it will be powered by a 64-bit Quad-Core HiSilicon 659 chipset clocked at 1.7 GHz coupled with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. There is also a variant with 128 GB internal storage, and both will have expandable memory options with a micro SD card.

There is a dual camera setup on the rear (13 MP + 2 MP) and also on the front (16 MP + 2 MP). That means the portrait mode will be available for both the rear and front cameras. The smartphone runs EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo and is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery. Other features include Dual SIM, Wireless LAN, Bluetooth, and a fingerprint sensor at the rear.

As for the pricing, the Huawei Enjoy 8 comes at a price tag of 1,399 RMB (Rs 14,500 approx) for the 3 GB variant, while the 4 GB variants cost 1,499 RMB (Rs 15,500 approx). It is available in Powder, Black, Indigo, and Gold color options. The Huawei Enjoy 8 Plus costs 1,799 RMB (Rs 18,500 approx) for the 64 GB ROM variant, while the 128 GB ROM variant costs 1,999 RMB (Rs 20,500 approx). It will be available in the same Powder, Black, Indigo, and Gold color options. The devices are speculated to be launched in the upcoming weeks.
