HTC U11 EYEs is Official with 6-inch Display and Dual Front Cameras

Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC (Hongda International Electronic) announced its latest smartphone, HTC U11 EYEs. The smartphone is the first smartphone launched by the company this year and is in the mid-premium segment.

The new HTC smartphone sports an aqua glass body with a comfortable grip and easy one-handed use. There is a circular fingerprint sensor placed on the rear. The device is available in Amazing Silver, Ceramic Black, and Solar Red color options.

As for the specs, the HTC U11 EYEs feature a 6-inch Super LCD 3 display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, a resolution of FHD+(1080 x 2160 pixels), and a pixel density of 402 PPI. Under the hood, a 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset powering the device. There will be only one RAM variant of 4 GB RAM coupled with 64 GB internal storage with expandable memory options of up to 2 TB using a microSD card.

The smartphone packs a dual camera BSI sensor of 5 MP on the front with f/2.2 aperture and comes with camera modes like Bokeh mode, HDR, real-time bokeh effects, voice control, and panoramic selfies. It also offers automatic beautification with real-time skin and Full HD 1080p video support. At the rear, it provides a single 12 MP BSI camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture and an LED sensor with features like UltraSpeed AF, Face Detection, Manual Pro mode, HDR, and Time-Lapse. Additionally, it offers OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) and slow-motion support at 1080P at 120 fps.

The HTC U11 EYEs also have Face Recognition Unlocking capabilities and HTC USonic sound technology. The device has built-in Personal Google Assistant and IP67-rated water and dust protection. Like the HTC U11, the U11 EYEs also support the HTC Sense Companion and the HTC Edge Sense, which lets you squeeze it to open any application.

The HTC U11 EYEs runs on Android 7.1 Nougat Version and is backed by a 3930 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, which is charged by a USB Type-C port. Connectivity options include VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, dual-band WLAN IEEE 802.11 a/b/g, NFC, and more. As for the pricing, the device is priced at TW 14900 Taiwan dollars( Rs. 32,031 approx), which places it against the likes of the OnePlus 5T and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.
