Honor 20 Could Launch as Huawei Nova 5T in Some Markets including Thailand

Huawei Nova 5 series debuted in China last month, including the Nova 5, Nova 5 Pro, and Nova 5i. Last week, the company expanded the range by launching the Nova 5i Pro. But, now the company may soon include Huawei Nova 5T on its Nova 5 line-up.

The Huawei Nova 5T, bearing the model number YAL-L21, has received certification from Thailand’s NBTC. Interestingly, the Honor 20 bearing the same model number, i.e., YAL-L21, has launched recently in several markets, including India, Russia, the UK, France, Germany, Malaysia, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, and Spain.

Both phones share the same model number, and we have seen Honor phones rebranding under the brand of the parent company, i.e., Huawei. So, we expect the company to launch the Honor 20 as Huawei Nova 5T in some markets, including Thailand.

Now, the question is the existence of the Huawei Nova 5T Pro. Yes, this is also possible. Last month, we saw Honor 20 Pro/ Huawei Nova 5T Pro and Honor 20/ Huawei Nova 5T on the Google Play supported device list with model names YAL-L41 and YAL-L21, respectively. But, as of now, the Honor 20 as Huawei Nova 5T is confirmed for the Thailand Market.
