Honor MagicOS 7 Based on Android 13: All You Need to Know 

Honor finally introduced MagicOS 7, based on Android 13. Ahead of its announcement, the company’s CEO confirmed that they are working on it, and it will be a significant upgrade. He also said the company is working on a new device to power the new UI.

The Honor team is preparing intensively for the future flagship device and MagicOS 7. The future flagship could be the Honor Magic V2, the next-generation foldable from Honor. It will likely be the first smartphone to feature MagicOS 7, followed by other eligible Honor devices later.

This is big news for all Honor fans as the company is one of the few still committed to providing major Android upgrades to its devices. Android 13 is a significant upgrade and will bring several new features and improvements to the devices powered by it.

Update November 23: Honor has announced its Android 13-based custom skin called MagicOS 7. The MagicOS 7 brings several new features, including MagicRing, Smart interconnection with multi-device collaboration, Turbo X system engine, Live Smart Engine, MagicGuard security protection system, Flow Design for Natural interactive experience, system-level card recommendations on Health app, and more. Honor has also revealed the public beta rollout plan for China. Though MagicOS 7 was announced on November 22, 2022, the beta build will release in December 2022.

Honor MagicOS 7 Features

This version of the MagicOS will be based on the upcoming Android 13 operating system. It is not yet clear what new features and changes will be included in this update. However, the update is expected to improve the overall user experience and performance of the Honor Magic UI.

Some of the rumored features of Android 13 include a new interface, Material You dynamic theming, a new control center, improved battery life, and more. We will have to wait for the official announcement from Honor to know more about the features and release date of MagicOS 7.
