Galaxy S24 plus with Exynos 2400 Appeared on Geekbench

Galaxy S24+ With Exynos 2400 Chipset Benchmarked, Shows Improved Performance

The South Korean Tech Giant will soon launch the Galaxy S24 series. It may include the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. As per rumors, some of the smartphones in the series will likely feature the Exynos chipset this time. To recall the predecessors, the Galaxy S22 series comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and the Galaxy S23 series comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

However, it appears the brand will launch its upcoming flagships with its chipset, namely Exynos 2400. Previous leaks suggest evidence that the smartphones are going to be equipped with the Exynos SoC. Further, the Geekbench listing confirmed the presence of the chipset in the forthcoming S series devices.

It is important to note that the Exynos 2400 has been found on the Galaxy S24, and the Plus model, the Ultra, remains under the hood. The top-of-the-line variant may feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The company will also launch the Snapdragon-powered devices in the United States and Canada.

The Galaxy S24+ European variant has now appeared on the Geekbench. So, the smartphones will likely come with the Exynos 2400 SoC for European markets. The model number is SM-S926B.

The single-core and multi-core scores of the chipset are 2067 points and 6520 points, respectively. To compare it with the competitors (Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3), it scored 2234 and 6807 points in single-core and multi-core, respectively.

Speaking of the specifications and architecture, the Geekbench listings have revealed it all. The SoC is going to be a 10-core. One core is clocked at 3.21GHz, two are clocked at 2.90GHz, three cores are clocked at 2.59GHz, and the remaining four cores are clocked at 1.96GHz.

We can see a 70% improved performance compared to its predecessor (Exynos 2200). It will likely be capable of 14.7 times faster AI processing. It will also probably come with an Xclipse 940 GPU with RDNA3 AMD architecture.

The smartphone features 8GB RAM. As of now, we are not sure about the storage options. However, we are expecting a base 256GB configuration. As always happens, the variant will come with Android 14 out-of-the-box—the same can also be reserved for the remaining models.

This was an on-paper-based specifications comparison, which can be different in real-life experience. Every factor can affect the device’s performance, from Samsung software tuning to environmental conditions. So, judging the performance based on the paper sheet is not a loyal decision.

The company will probably tune the chipsets better to sync with their upcoming Galaxy S24 series. Let’s wait for the official launches, and we can conclude it better. We will update the post based on the latest news, updates, and developments. Make sure to keep an eye out for the same.
