Shipping Records Confirms Details About a Few CPUs
The records we are talking about were shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter). They show multiple devices featuring many new AMD processors. Four of them belong to the AMD Ryzen 8000U series CPUs, while three more belong to the AMD Ryzen 7000U series CPUs. We have mentioned them below.
AMD Ryzen 8000U Series

- Ryzen 5 Pro 8540U
- Ryzen 5 8540U
- Ryzen 3 8440U
As per the listing, the CPUs mentioned above are rated at a TDP of 28W and are meant for thin and light laptops.
AMD Ryzen 7000G Series
- Ryzen 5 Pro 7500G
- Ryzen 5 7500G
- Ryzen 3 7300G
The listing reveals that the CPUs mentioned here will come with a TDP rating of 65W. They will be suitable for midrange laptops or low-end desktop computers.
AMD has a habit of incorporating several of its architectures in a single lineup. Judging by the naming scheme of the aforementioned CPUs, all of them will be based on Zen4 architecture.
When will these new CPUs be launched?
While there have been a lot of speculations around the launch date of AMD’s new Ryzen CPUs, we are not sure of the exact dates yet. The most common notion about this seems to be that we will see them in the first half of 2024. And if we are fortunate enough, we may even get the launch in the first quarter itself.
