AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT Release Window Could Be January 2024

The AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT has been in the talks for a few months. It will be the latest addition to AMD’s graphics card lineup. It may also be the last GPU AMD makes based on RDNA 3 architecture. In this article, we have covered all these details and more.

About the Radeon RX 7600 XT

The Radeon RX 7600 XT will be a mid-range graphics card by AMD. It will be a successor to the Radeon RX 6600 XT, launched over two years ago, in August of 2021. The more advanced models of this GPU were launched a few months ago at the Gamescom event. They were the Radeon RX 7700 XT and the Radeon RX 7800 XT.

The last major leaks about this graphics card date back to September 2023. These leaks came out soon after AMD launched the RX 7700 XT and the RX 7800 XT. We can expect to see two different product versions per the leaks. One would have 10GB of VRAM, and the other would feature 12GB. Both of these will be based on GDDR6 memory technology. Since those leaks, not much has been said about the AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT GPU.

In recent news, Arktek has listed a few graphics cards on the Eurasian Economic Commission  (EEC) website. The listing mentions the AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT as one of the product names.

On a side note, another leak claims that we will not see the Radeon RX 7700 and the Radeon RX 7800 (non-XT variants) despite the listing mentioning both. This will likely make the Radeon RX 7600 XT the last AMD graphics card based on RDNA 3 architecture. Newer GPUs will be based on RDNA 4 architecture, supporting PCIE 5.0.

Expected Release Date and Price

All of the data provided in this article is based on leaks, which means that AMD has not officially confirmed anything about the Radeon RX 7600 XT. However, if the leaks are true, we can expect to see Radeon RX 7600 XT in January 2024. Based on information corroborated by Benchlife and aligned with other sources, the release date is expected to be January 24th.

As for the price, there is no solid information about it. But, based on our speculation, it will almost certainly fill the huge price gap between the Radeon RX 7600 ($269) and the Radeon RX 7700 XT ($450). A fair guess would be somewhere around $370. Once again, AMD has not made any statements so that the final product could have a slightly different price.
