The Samsung Galaxy S-series Fan Edition (FE) lineups are pretty popular around the globe. The company started the trend with its S20 series and appears to continue. The FE version aims to provide the flagship-level specifications at a relatively lower price. Rumors say the tech giant plans to introduce a new “FE,” the Galaxy S24 FE.
The South Korean Tech company introduced its ultimate flagship series in January. It includes the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and the top-of-the-line Galaxy S24 Ultra. The price range starts from approximately $950 to $2100 for the ultimate variant. However, the main objective of the Galaxy S24 FE variant is to provide most of the regular S24 specifications at a relatively lower price, possibly around $700-$800.
That said, a tipster named Connar has unveiled some essential details of the upcoming Galaxy S24 FE. Stay tuned, as we will cover the entire shared list based on the leaked specifications.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Leaked Specifications
Depending on the region, the predecessor has an Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. However, the upcoming Galaxy FE is supposed to come with an Exynos chip for the global markets. We can only expect Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in some specific countries. The other markets will possibly have an Exynos 2400.
The display will be as usual, 120Hz AMOLED. The expected screen size is 6.5 inches, proven since their three FE generations. However, per the tipster, he mentions a “6.1 Inch display.”
Regarding the RAM and storage configurations, the upcoming phone will likely have a base 12GB RAM (LPDDR5x). The storage variants include 128GB and 256GB, having UFS 3.1 and UFS 4.0 speeds, respectively. If history repeats, it will feature a 4500mAh battery, 25W standard charging, and 15W wireless charging.
Further, the tweet confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S-series will exclusively be based on Exynos processors. The Galaxy Z Fold and Flip series will feature Snapdragon chipsets, per the leak. However, we don’t know which regions/ countries are eligible for this. For their A-series, it will have MediaTek and Exynos chipset. The same applies to the Galaxy F-series and M-series, which are more or less similar.
That’s it. This was the first leak coming out for the upcoming Galaxy S24 FE. We don’t know how the actual product will be or if there will be some changes compared to the predecessor. The final product will vary based on the company’s planning. Nonetheless, the upcoming leaks will keep confirming the leaks further. The device is expected to launch in October 2024 since the previous generation arrived in October 2023.
