Leak Suggests OnePlus 5T to Launch on Nov 16 and Sale on 21st November

The OnePlus 5T marketing is in full swing. We have seen the sample photographs teased by the two OnePlus founders, Carl Pei, and Pete Lau, on their Twitter handle with the phrase “Cool photo, must have come from an excellent camera. “

On top of that, an anonymous source has leaked an Amazon-exclusive image showing us the smartphone and the alleged presentation date. Also, we can see that same tagline from the previously leaked photos: “Larger display. Same footprint. ”

Official Announcement Nov 6: OnePlus 5T will be announced on 16th November and will go on sale in North American and Europe just a week later, on November 21st. Though not of high resolution, the picture below shows that the OnePlus 5T will officially unveil on November 16 this year. Interestingly, the OnePlus 3T was announced on the same day last year. The date of the sale has been censored, and we have no way to find out. However, following other rumors, it is speculated that the device will be on sale after November 20. It has been claimed by Evan Blass, who is a trustable leaker. Also, the OnePlus 3T was on sale after November 28, 2016. The term “Amazon Exclusive” almost points in an Indian direction.

As for the specifications, OnePlus 5T is said to feature a 6-inch Optic AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels). It has an 18:9 aspect ratio widescreen for which the fingerprint sensor is moved to the back. The device follows the “no-bezel” trend of 2017. Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and an Adreno 540 GPU in the graphics department. There will be two memory variants: One will have 6 GB, and the other will have 8 GB of dual-channel LPDDR4X-1866 RAM. The device will have 64 GB and 128 GB internal UFS 2.1 non-expandable storage on the respective variants. The back cameras will be like the same dual cameras (16 MP + 20 MP) aperture f / 1.7  as featured on the One Plus 5. The front cam is likely to be upgraded like the OnePlus 3T. The device will run its own Oxygen OS based on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo and will probably feature a bigger battery. As per rumors, it’s likely to lose the 3.5mm jack.

The wait will be over soon. The leak suggests the device will be officially announced on November 16.
