Samsung Galaxy F22 to be priced under Rs 15,000 in India; tipped to launch the second week of July

Samsung has recently launched its Samsung Galaxy M32 smartphone in India. It’s a mid-range smartphone featuring a 90Hz AMOLED Display. And now, they’re gearing up to launch their new mid-range smartphone in India, Samsung Galaxy F22. The Galaxy F22 will be a new addition to Samsung’s F series of smartphones.

The Galaxy F22 has already been listed on various certifications, aiming toward the official launch. IndiaTV has reported that the company will launch its Samsung Galaxy F22 smartphone in July. On the other hand, a report by IANS claims that the device will launch in India in the second week of July. Summing up both info, the launch will happen in India on the second week of July, possibly before 15th July. However, we don’t have any official information on this, nor has the company teased the device anywhere else.

Looking more into the information, the device will be priced in India at around Rs 15,000. We can probably expect it to be priced at Rs 13,999 or Rs 14,999 for the base variant. Moreover, it is claimed that the Galaxy F22 will be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A22 but with a 6000mAh battery instead of 5000mAh. The device was listed on Google Play Console certifications before revealing some of the specifications of the device.

According to the Google Play Console certification, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy F22 will be powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, the same we have seen on Galaxy A22. The device will offer a 48-megapixel quad rear camera with 8-megapixels ultrawide, 2-megapixels depth, and a 2-megapixel macro at last. It will boot up on Android 11-based One UI 3.1. The base variant of the device will have 4GB of RAM. There will be a 6.4-inch AMOLED Display with a 90Hz high refresh rate. The specifications are the same when compared with the Galaxy A22. So, the news claiming that Galaxy A22 will rebrand the Galaxy F22 might be true.
