Samsung Galaxy A25 5G Design Revealed in Official Renders

Samsung’s Galaxy A2x lineup has always been their midrange lineup. It’s 2 tiers above the entry-level A0x and A1x lineup and 2 below the A3x and A5x lineup. This makes it an option for people with a limited budget to consider and don’t want the entry-level options.

Rumors about the phone have already been circulating since June of this year, but as we inch closer to the launch, new info about it is coming out. Now, fresh renders and leaks have come out of the Galaxy A25 5G, which show us the design and color options.

According to AndroidHeadlines, an anonymous but trustworthy source has leaked the official renders of the Galaxy A25 5G. The phone’s colors in the renders are Lime Green, Light Blue, Blue-Gray, and Black. The report says the colors have a balanced hue. This means they’re not too vibrant but not too bland, either.

The back of the phone has a vertically aligned triple camera setup with an LED flash next to it, just like its predecessor, A24. The design is pretty similar to their flagship phone, the S23. Coming to the front, the phone has an Infinity-U display with noticeable bezels on all four sides.

Regarding physical dimensions, the phone measures 162 x 77.5 x 8.3mm. The company has placed the power button and volume rockers on the right side of the frame, with the power button doubling up as a fingerprint scanner.

The A25 5G has a triple rear camera on the rear, with a 50MP primary shooter. The other two are probably a 5MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. We expect both 8GB and 6GB RAM variants and 128GB storage. The display remains the same 1080P 90Hz AMOLED display as its predecessor, the A24. The major upgrade is to connectivity. The phone is getting 5G.

It’s mostly getting the Exynos 1280 chipset, the same one as the Galaxy M34 5G. The Exynos 1280 isn’t a great budget chip, but it’s an upgrade from the Helio G99 on the A24. It scores 900 (single-core) and 2100 (multi-core) on Geekbench. We also expect the same 5000mAh battery and 25W charging.

It’s unknown how accurate these specs are; they may change a bit at launch time. Regarding the launch date, it’ll probably launch in early 2024. The A24 launched in May 2023, but Samsung’s launches are all earlier next year. We can expect the A25 5G to be ready before March 2024. We expect a price tag of under 300 USD, but there are no concrete leaks about the pricing yet. Since Samsung didn’t officially confirm any of this information, we recommend taking it with a pinch of salt until we get more information.
