Oppo A85 Spotted on TENAA with a 5.7-inch Full-Screen Display

Chinese smartphone maker recently launched the OPPO A73 and the OPPO A79 last month. Today, another OPPO A-series smartphone was spotted on the TENAA certification website. The device was named A85, and because of the certification, we know how the smartphone looks and at least some of the specs.

The spec list reveals that the OPPO A73 will be a smartphone from the budget to a mid-range segment of the market—the front houses a Full-Screen display, likely having an aspect ratio of 18:9 with no physical keys. The device looks like it is made up of metal, which measures 150.5 × 73.1 × 7.7 mm and weighs 143 g. The right side contains the power button and the SIM card tray, whereas the left side holds the volume rocker buttons. The rear camera is placed in the top left corner of the back.

On the paper, the OPPO A85 is reported to feature a 5.7-inch full-screen display with a resolution of 1440 × 720 pixels. An Octa-core processor will power it, clocked at 2.5 GHz coupled with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The back will sport a 13 MP camera, whereas the front offers an 8 MP camera sensor. The device will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat and be backed by a 3090 mAh battery. The TENAA certification hints that the device will launch soon; our best guess will be early 2018.
