OnePlus 11 may Launch with 100W Fast Charging Support

The OnePlus 11 so far looks like a solid and well-rounded performance-centric option with decent cameras. According to the latest reports, the device brings much faster charge speeds than its predecessor, the OnePlus 10 Pro. Renders for the phone have already surfaced online.

OnePlus has altered its naming scheme a bit for this generation. The upcoming OnePlus 11 will be a successor to the OnePlus 10 Pro, and the pricing will likely be similar to that, probably around 60,000 INR (~725 USD). A Pro model is not expected to launch this year, and they’re attempting to simplify their naming scheme.

Possible OnePlus 11 now appears on the 3C Certification website and carries the model number PHB110. The power adapter has the model name VCBAJACH and supports 5 Volts at 2 Amps/ 5 to 11 Volts at 9.1 Amperes of power output. Judging by these numbers, we can conclude that it will support 100W wired charging.

This phone is set to be the first mainstream OnePlus flagship device to feature 100W charging. The fastest-charging OnePlus phone remains the OnePlus 10R, which launched in 2022 and was a rebrand of the Realme GT Neo 3. The OnePlus 10T charges 150 or 125W depending on the socket, so the OnePlus 11 isn’t the fastest out there.

We expect a 5000 mAh battery on the OnePlus 11, which has not been confirmed. Also, this 100W power adapter seems to be the same adapter used by Realme for their Realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition phone.

In other news, the phone will probably pack the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SOC. It will mostly feature a curved 120Hz 1440P AMOLED LTPO panel. According to early renders, it is clear that the alert slider has made a comeback. UFS 4.0 and LPDDR 5X might be used for this as well.

The OnePlus 11 looks like a solid and balanced phone at 60,000 INR, and 100W fast charging is good enough and is still quicker than Apple’s and Samsung’s top offerings of charging speed. 100W will probably charge the OnePlus 11 from 0 to 100% in under 40 minutes, though that remains to be seen.

Regarding the launch date, the OnePlus 11 is expected to launch in January 2023.
