After launching Motorola One Vision, One Action, and One Zoom under its One branding, now, the company is planning to launch yet another smartphone, which will be called Motorola One Macro. On September 20, 2019, a Motorola phone with model number XT2016-1 has certified by NCC, which is Taiwan’s certification agency. Sadly, the certification doesn’t reveal anything except that it will support Taiwan 4G full frequency band, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
A few days ago, the same model number i.e. XT2016-1 appeared on Thailand’s NBTC which reveals XT2016-1 will be called Motorola One Macro. The document didn’t reveal other details apart from revealing the marketing name.
The company has not revealed any information about the phone’s launch date and availability. However, both NBTC and NCC certification hint that the Motorola One Macro is close to launching.
The Motorola One Macro was also spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, which revealed some key details of the upcoming phone. According to Geeekbench listing, the phone will arrive with an octa-core processor (likely Helio P60 SoC) clocked at 1.9GHz, 2GB of RAM and Android 9 Pie operating system out-of-the-box. The phone has scored 1,429 points on the single-core performance test and 5,584 points on the multi-core performance test.
A live image of the Motorola One Macro was also spotted via XDA-Developers online, which showed that the phone will feature a waterdrop notch display with a single selfie camera within rounded corners. The device has a purple-coloured power key button, a large bezel on the bottom and a volume rocker on the right side.
