Chinese smartphone manufacturer Lenovo appears to be working on a new device from their K series, which might debut in early 2018 or later this month. The Lenovo device with model number Lenovo K320t has been spotted on the Chinese certification website TENAA, giving insight into the device and some of its specs. The device is listed in Black and Silver color options.
According to the TENAA spec list, the device sports a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of HD+ (1440 x 720) pixels. The device follows the 2017 trend of thin bezels and tall displays. An unknown 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor will power the smartphone. The device will have two memory variants: 2 GB RAM + 16 GB internal storage and 3 GB RAM + 32 GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 128 GB through micro SD in both variants.
In the optics department, the Lenovo K320t offers dual rear cameras and an LED flash stacked on the top left side of the phone. However, the listing mentions only a 2 MP rear camera. Our good guess is one of the camera sensors is a 2 MP while the other will be of higher resolution. The front offers an 8 MP camera for selfies and video calling. The device houses a circular shaped fingerprint sensor on the rear.
The smartphone will be backed by a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery and run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The device is expected to come with dual SIM support. The device measures 155.2 x 73.5 x 8.5 mm and weighs 153.8 g. Connectivity options include 4G-LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS, and a micro USB port. Sensors on board include Gravity sensors, distance sensors, and light sensors. We expect the price of the device to be around Rs 7,000.
Lenovo has not announced any details or the device’s launch date, but the recent TENAA appearance suggests the launch will be soon. We expect an announcement from Lenovo soon.
