Google Pixel 9a Dimensions Revealed Ahead of Launch

The Google Pixel 9 series launched in August, a couple of months earlier than Google’s usual schedule of October.

However, that’s not the only early launch Google is planning for their phones. Even the Pixel 9a is expected to launch a couple of months earlier.

The Pixel 9a is expected to launch in March next year, unlike its predecessors, which launched in May.

As we inch closer to the Pixel 9a launch, more concrete leaks surface. Based on some recent leaks, the Pixel 9a is expected to have a redesign.

It’s going to have a different camera housing. As a matter of fact, the Pixel 9a lacks almost any camera housing. The camera module of the phone sits almost flush with the back panel.

However, this comes at the cost of a larger body than its predecessor, the Pixel 8a. According to @OnLeaks on X (formerly Twitter), the Pixel 9a is expected to be marginally larger than what he previously expected.

According to his report, the device will measure 154.7 x 73.2 x 8.9 mm. This is larger than his previous leak of 154 x 73 x 8.5 mm. For comparison, the Pixel 8a measures 152.1 x 72.7 x 8.9 mm.

With these updated leaks, the Pixel 9a is now 2.6 mm taller and 0.5 mm wider than the Pixel 8a. The previous leak showed Pixel 9a to be 0.4mm thinner than Pixel 8a, but these new leaks show that it’s going to be the same.
