Moto G Stylus 5G will come with a 5000 mAh battery, 10W charger and Snapdragon 480 chipset

In January, Motorola launched the Moto G Stylus (2021) with the Snapdragon 678 4G chipset under the hood. Now, the company is planning to launch its 5G version in the US, which will be dubbed Moto G Stylus 5G. The device with model XT2131 has recently passed Bluetooth certification, which reveals its moniker. We cross-checked the model XT2131 with multiple certification databases and found more information.

We have searched the model XT2131 on the FCC database and found the battery model number MD50 and the adapter model number MC-201. To find out the battery capacity and charger output, we cross-checked the MD50 and MC-201 models with the UL(Demko) and TÜV Rheinland databases, respectively.

Now we can say the Moto G Stylus 5G will be backed by a larger 5000mAh battery (up from 4G Moto G Stylus’s 4,000mAh). Regarding charging capacity, we get 10W charging support like its 4G version.

In addition, the IMEI database reveals that Moto G Stylus 5G will carry the Denver code name. Past reports via Techniknews suggested that Motorola Denver (Moto G Stylus 5G) will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 5G chipset coupled with 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB configuration. It will feature a quad-camera setup on the back that includes a 48MP Samsung S5KGM1ST primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The handset will have a 16MP sensor on the front for selfies and video calls.

The G Stylus 5G has also appeared on the Geekbench v5 benchmark platform. The listing reveals Snapdragon 480 SoC, 6GB RAM, and Android 11 OS will be packed with the handset.

Currently, it is not known when Motorola will be launching this new G Stylus. However, thanks to Nils Ahrensmeier, now we can see the G Stylus 5G from all angles ahead of launch.
