Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has launched the Huawei Honor 7X Flame Red variant along with the latest flagship the Honor V10 today. The Flame red variant makes the 7X available in four colours, the other three being gold, black and aura blue.
The new Flame red Huawei Honor 7X comes with the vivid bold colour design. There is a black plate on the front and adopts metal body which gives the device a premium look. On the paper, the Huawei Honor sports 5.93 inches Full HD+ full-screen display with thin-bezels and 18:9 aspect ratio with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The device is powered by an octa-core Hisilicon Kirin 659 chipset coupled with 4 GB of RAM.
There are three memory variants of this device: 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. All the three variants offer expandable memory upto 256 GB. On the optics department, the Honor 7X comes with a dual camera setup on the rear consisting a 16 MP and a 2 MP while offering an 8 MP camera on the front. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based company’s own EMUI 5.1 custom skin and is powered by a 3,340mAh battery. To note the Huawei Honor V10 which was launched together runs the latest Android 8.0 Oreo.
The dual SIM Huawei Honor 7X is priced at CNY 1,299 (Rs 12,800 approx) for the 4 GB +32 GB variant, CNY 1,699( Rs 16,800 approx) for the 4 GB + 64 GB variant and CNY 1,999 (Rs 20,000 approx) for the 4 GB +128 GB variant which puts it against the likes of Honor 9i, Oppo F5 and Xiaomi Mi A1.
The Flame red variant will be available for sale at 10:08 am on December 5 and is listed on Jd.com. Currently, there is no word about the launch of the Flame red variant in India. We expect to hear it in the Honor media event in London which will be live streamed in India through the Honor India Facebook page at 8 pm IST on December 5.
