Last year, Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE launched the ZTE Small Fresh 5 smartphone, a mid-range smartphone with 3 GB and 4 GB variants. This year, the company will launch the ZTE Small Fresh 5S smartphone, which was Certified by TENAA on March 15 with model number ZTE V0920. Today, we have spotted the ZTE Small Fresh 5S device with its render, specifications, price, and user manual in the database of China Telecom.
The China Telecom listing shows that The ZTE Small Fresh 5S has a plastic body and looks taller with sharper corners than the Small Fresh 5. It contains a circular fingerprint sensor at the back, which the company claims has a response time of 0.3s. It is available in Rock Black, Audrey Power, and Baikal Blue color options.

As for the specs, it features a 5.45 HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) capacitive display and will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm 8940 chipset coupled with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal space with expandable memory option up to 128 GB using a microSD card. As its predecessor offered a 4 GB RAM variant, there is a good chance there will also be one for the 5S.

In the optics department, the smartphone sports a dual camera setup at the rear consisting of 13 MP primary sensors and 2 MP secondary sensors. The Small Fresh 5 also offers the dual camera at the back with the same configuration but in the top middle portion, while the 5S cameras are placed in the top left corner like the Honor devices. It contains a small LED flash, too. On the front, it retains the same 5 MP camera for selfies and video calling.

The smartphone runs Android 8.1.0 under the company’s MiFavour UI and is backed by a 3100 mAh battery, a good upgrade over the predecessor’s 2500 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G, SRLTE, EVDo, GSM, FDD- LTE, TD- LTE, Wi-Fi micro USB, and more.
As for the pricing, the small Fresh 5 came with a price tag of 999 Yuan and 1,399 Yuan for the 3GB and 4GB variants. But as per the China Telecom listing, the ZTE Small Fresh 5S smartphone comes at 1290 Yuan. The device is speculated to be launched in the upcoming weeks.
