Chinese manufacturer ZTE launched a mid-range smartphone called ZTE Blade A3 in October. The device was available in Glacier Blue and Obsidian Black color variants until now. ZTE has announced that the A3 will be available in one more color.
The new color variant will be called Quite Blue and looks darkish blue (RGB-43, 63, 70). The device will also feature black front bezels, unlike the Glacier Blue variant, which has white bezels.
The specs of the device will remain the same as the other variants. The device has a 5.5 HD (1280 x 729 pixels) display with 2.5 D glass. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor coupled with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage with expandable memory options up to 128GB via a microSD card.
The device’s USP is its dual camera setup on the front consisting of 5 MP and 2 MP cameras with an LED flash, while the rear contains a 13 MP camera sensor. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with MiFavor4.2 running on the top and is powered by a 4000mAh non-removable battery. It measures 152.00 x 75.80 x 8.20 mm.
It also packs a fingerprint sensor in the rear with a Face Unlock feature. It also has a 3.5 mm earphone jack, a micro USB port, and a triple card tray, which lets you insert two SIM cards and a micro SD card slot simultaneously. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G, and 4G LTE. Sensors on the phone include Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, and Gyroscope.
The device is priced at 799 Yuan (Rs 7,800 approx) and is listed on JD.com. The pre-registrations have already started in the store.
