A few months ago, Xiaomi introduced the Mi CC series in association with Meitu, which includes the Mi CC9, Mi CC9e, and Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition. Now, the company is planning to launch a new smartphone under its CC series, which will probably be dubbed as Mi CC9 Pro. Recently, a Xiaomi phone with model number M1910F4G has received EEC certification, and there are speculations that the model M1910F4G will be called Mi CC9 Pro.
The EEC listing doesn’t reveal anything, but it suggests that the device may launch soon. According to the Weibo tipster, Xiaomi might launch the Mi CC9 Pro on October 24, 2019. The tipster also revealed some key specifications of the device. Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro will sport a 108-megapixel camera with Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor. Also, the device’s display will be a curved display manufactured by Visionox. A Snapdragon 730G SoC will power the phone.
The main highlight of Mi CC9 Pro will be its 108-megapixel camera with Samsung’s sensor. Samsung and Xiaomi partnered to make the world’s first 108MP Smartphone camera sensor called Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX, which will arrive on Mi CC9 Pro. 12032×9024 pixels will be the resolution of photos captured by the ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor.
Mi CC9 Pro will be a definite upgrade compared to its predecessor, Mi CC9. The Mi CC9 was powered by Snapdragon 710, whereas the Mi CC9 Pro will run on Snapdragon 730G. Also, in the camera department with a 48MP primary camera, the Mi CC9 doesn’t stand a chance against the 108MP primary camera of the Mi CC9 Pro.
Recently, the price of Xiaomi Mi CC9 has also dropped in Jingdong Mall. The price cut of the older model is common as its successor is on the way. We expect more details of the Mi CC9 Pro will surface online in the coming weeks.
