It has been quite a long time since Xiaomi announced its latest device in the Mi CC series. For those unaware, The Xiaomi CC series is a camera-centric smartphone coming from the house of Xiaomi; the devices are exclusive to China. However, we’ve seen the Mi A3 smartphone as a rebranded version of the Mi CC9 device. And now, they’re gearing up to launch their new generation of the device under the Mi CC series.
Going through the information spreading online, Xiaomi might directly launch their Mi CC11 series of devices, putting the Mi CC10 series on hold. The information by Digital Chat Station suggests that the upcoming smartphone in the Mi CC series will grab the code number K9D and has already been certified in Chinese Radio Certification with 2107119DC model number.
On the other hand, DSP Charles, a blogger on Weibo, claims that the device might bring a similar camera design to its predecessor. He further claims the device will compete against Vivo X60 Pro and Oppo Reno6 Pro. Moreover, it might bring some specs from Mi 11 Lite 5G.
Also, the certification doesn’t reveal many details about the device, but it’s expected to flaunt Samsung’s latest 100-megapixel primary lens. As a camera-centric smartphone, it may offer 12X Hybrid optical zoom support and 120X digital zoom support. Further, it might be powered by an unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 775G 5G chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and a 120Hz Curved OLED Display with an FHD+ resolution.
At present, there’s no information if Xiaomi launches the device with another name. Apart from this, we don’t have any more information about the device’s specifications. We expect the device’s price to be set around CNY 1,800 – CNY 2,000, as it will bring a flagship-level camera setup.
