As we all know, the Mi A series of smartphones are the first by Xiaomi to come with stock Android. Xiaomi has a total of three smartphones in the Mi A series. The Mi A1 was the first to launch with an Android One OS. It has been a month since the launch of Android 11 and we checked about the status of Android 11 on Mi A3 earlier. But the users of Mi A2 (Mi 6X for China) and Mi A2 Lite (Redmi 6 Pro for China & India) are in a dilemma whether they will get to experience the new Android 11 or not. Since Mi A series is part of the Android One program, users are expecting to get the new Android 11 update. We fact-checked and also tracked the previous software policy of Xiaomi. Xiaomi Mi A2 and its lite variant were launched back in 2018 with pre-installed Android 8.1 Oreo. Interestingly, Mi A2 Lite is nothing but the Redmi 6 Pro for India.
