Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra may support 1920 fps super slow motion on its 50MP primary camera

Xiaomi is testing a 1920 fps super slow motion video capture

On the next Xiaomi Mi 12 series, Xiaomi is reportedly developing a 1920 fps super slow-motion video capture. This mode is being tested on the Xiaomi Mi 12’s 50 MP main camera, which is expected to be included in the top-end models. Digital Chat Station, a popular Weibo blogger, has reported that the two Xiaomi 12 high-profile engineering machines are suspected to use a 50-megapixel main camera sensor and a super large bottom solution, which supports 1920 fps super slow motion.

This functionality is reportedly being tested in engineering samples of Xiaomi’s top two Xiaomi 12 models (Mi 12 Pro and Mi 12 Ultra?). While the primary camera will be the same in both flagship versions being tested, the wide-angle and periscope lenses will most likely be different. It’s also worth noting that the Xiaomi Mi 12 engineering version is currently testing a three-primary camera system, without a padded lens. Three cameras are 50-megapixel flagship sensors, including the main camera, which has a very large bottom, super wide-angle is also a 50-megapixel high-quality lens, and periscopic telephoto is also a 50-megapixel high-quality lens.

Overall, the Xiaomi Mi 12 will deliver good performance in all aspects of photography, essentially covering all common shooting scenarios, while the main camera level telephoto lens can deliver a much more powerful telephoto experience than previous competitors, and the periscope lens is no longer a chicken feed feature. An LTPO adaptive refresh rate display that can dynamically shift between 1 Hz and 120 Hz, as well as the Snapdragon 898 SoC, is anticipated to make the cut. While the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra and Pro are anticipated to have 50 MP arrays, the Xiaomi Mi 12 is believed to include a 200 MP sensor, which was previously speculated to be part of the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra also.

It is probable that Qualcomm’s new flagship CPU Snapdragon 898 will debut in the Xiaomi Mi 12 series, making it the first smartphone to break past a million in the Rabbit score, something to look forward to.
