Xiaomi might launch its Mi 12 smartphone in December with Snapdragon 898/895

Mi 12 will be the next flagship smartphone coming from the house of Xiaomi. And as a flagship smartphone, it will be powered by a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 898/895 chipset. The company will launch the smartphone as soon as Qualcomm announces its Snapdragon 898/895 5G chipset.

Well, today, a known tipster, Ice Universe, has suggested that Qualcomm will launch its flagship Snapdragon 898/895 5G chipset at least half a month before. Usually, Qualcomm releases its flagship chipset at the start of the year. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 898/895 5G chipset is also expected to launch in January 2022. But now, as per the report by Ice Universe, they said that it will launch at least half a month before.

Going through the report by Ice Universe, it is expected that Qualcomm will release its flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 895 5G chipset in early December. In other words, it aims towards the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 12 device. Xiaomi and Qualcomm have a close partnership, and they usually launch their flagship smartphone sometime after the official announcement of Qualcomm’s flagship chipset.

The Mi 11 was the first smartphone to sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. On the other hand, Chen Jin, General Manager of Lenovo, said they will launch their new flagship smartphone with the upcoming chipset in the new year days 2022.

Also, some rumors tell that the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 898/895 5G chipset will be based on Samsung’s 4nm fabrication process for low power usage with improved performance. It will be the powerful chipset that will improve the heat control issues we have seen on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 898/895 5G chipset will bring the integrated X65 5G modem for better and improved 5G network connectivity.
