Vodafone Offers New Plans Similar to Jio with Unlimited Combo Deals

The tariff plan Rs 458 and Rs 509 comes with daily 1GB of 3G/4G data

Vodafone India has implemented new plans for its existing customers. After Reliance Jio’s takeover of the Indian Telecom Services, Vodafone has offered a series of plans to regain their position. Now this company has added another two new tariff plans.

The Combo deals are Rs 458 and Rs 509 Tariff plans. Both these plans offer a combo pack of Data, Voice call and SMS. However for now, only in selected circles of India, these plans are valid. For now, only Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh subscribers can avail these offers.

Both these plans are combo deals and come with 1GB 3G/4G data daily. Along with data, these plans offer unlimited local and national roaming voice calls. They also offer 100 SMS on a daily basis.  However, the so-called unlimited voice call plan comes with a capping. The voice calls are capped at 1000 minutes on a per week basis and 250 minutes on a per day basis. The Rs 458 comes with a validity of 70 days while the Rs 509 comes with a validity of 84 days.

On recharge with any of these two plans, Vodafone is offering a free subscription to Vodafone Pay. After recharging the customer needs to send an SMS saying “Play” and send it to 199. The Vodafone Play services will be then active for the number.

Besides all these, the availability of these plans on selected circles makes it a bummer for the users of the other circles. The plans are still in their initial stages, and there is a chance these plans will further extend to different circles soon. Also, these plans are only valid for 3G and 4G subscribers and not for the 2G customers. They are open market plans so any new or old Vodafone customer can avail these Tariff plans.

Vodafone’s plans to counter Reliance Jio’s plans of Rs 399 and Rs 459 with these two new plans. The Vodafone India plans are priced a little bit higher than Jio’s plans, but they offer the same combo deals as Jio along with equal validity.
