With Diwali around the corner, the telecom giants are unveiling several ‘bang for buck’ offers to grab customer’s attention. Now to counter Reliance Jio, Airtel, BSNL and other telecom operators, Vodafone has come with a new plan which is priced at Rs 399. This offer includes 90GB 4G data for six months. Along with that, we are getting unlimited local and STD calls. The new tariff plan is available for selected prepaid customers and will compete against the Reliance Jio and Airtel’s Rs 399 plan. However, there is no word on whether this offer will continue after the festive season.
Rumors have that this offer could be 84GB with a validity of 84 days which means we will be getting 1GB per day. And there is also another plan of Rs 499 for the postpaid users that offers 1GB data per day for three months along with unlimited calls. They will also get a discount of Rs 100 if they talk to customer care.
Now Reliance Jio and Airtel’s offer are both of Rs 399. But the difference comes in their data and their validity. Under Reliance Jio’s new Rs 399 Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, customers can get a 100% cashback in the form of eight vouchers that are worth Rs 50. It also offers unlimited local and STD calls to both prepaid and postpaid customers along with free SMS service and access to all the Jio apps including JioTV, Jio Movies, JioMusic and so on. But to avail, this offer user must recharge between the period of October 12 until October 18.The offer will activate from October 19, after which the unlimited services for a validity of three months. Airtel is also offering 84GB of data for 84days. However, under FUP (Fair Usage Policy) users are limited to 1GB per day after which charges will be applicable. Airtel also recently partnered with the Karbonn A40 Indian to launch it at a minimal price of Rs 1,399.
While giving a festive offer, BSNL to is not left behind. Under their ‘Laxmi’ promotional offer on Diwali, users are getting 50 percent additional talk time to prepaid users. The offer is available on PAN India basis. This offer is available on the recharge of Rs 290, Rs 390 or Rs 590.That means we are getting the talk value of Rs 435, Rs 585, and Rs 885 at the price of Rs 290, Rs 390 or Rs 590 respectively.
The data war in India has become pretty cut throat after the Reliance Jio offers. The festive season is bringing the best of it.
