Vivo V20 SE with Snapdragon 665 SoC and 33W Fast Charging Support Launching Soon

Vivo is readying a new smartphone under its V series with model number V2022. The device has recently passed multiple certifications, including NBTC (Thailand), SDPPI (Indonesia), and CQC (China), revealing some of its details. It has also been spotted on the Geekbench database that reveals SoC details.

NBTC and SDPPI certification listings confirm that the V2022 will be marketed as a Vivo V20 SE. The CQC listing, on the other hand, confirmed that it will pack 33W fast charging support. Unfortunately, these certifications don’t reveal other specs of the V20 SE.

Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has also shared promotional images of V20 SE on his Twitter account, confirming that V20 SE is on the way.

Separately, the Geekbench listing has mentioned the motherboard name as Trinket. We know Trinket is the codename of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 chipset. Snapdragon 665-powered already announced smartphones Mi A3 and Redmi Note 8T had the same motherboard. So, we can conclude that the upcoming Vivo V20 SE will feature a Snapdragon 665 SoC with Adreno 610 GPU (950MHz).

Other specifications include Android 10 with Funtouch OS on top of it and 8GB of RAM. The listing also shows 316 points in the single-core test and 1377 points in the multi-core test.

Though Vivo has not announced anything regarding the Vivo V20 SE, all these listings/certifications suggest that Vivo V20 SE could be right around the corner.

Vivo V20 series will be the successor to Vivo V19. The series will include three smartphones: Vivo V20, V20 SE and V20 Pro.

To recall, Vivo V19 is powered by Snapdragon 712 10nm mobile platform. It sports a FULL HD+ Super AMOLED Ultra-O display of 6.44-inch. We see a 32M+ 8MP camera module for selfies. Rear camera units includes 48MP (f/1.79), 8MP (f/2.2), 2MP (f/2.4) and  2MP (f/2.4). It features an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The V19 draws power from a 4500 mAh (typical) battery that supports 33W Vivo FlashCharge 2.0 fast charging. It has Mystic Silver and Piano Black color options.
