Upcoming Phones September 2022: Vivo V25, Realme GT Neo 3T, Xiaomi 12T Pro

It’s that time of year again when smartphone brands prepare to launch their new flagship devices. September is always exciting for tech lovers as we see the latest and greatest smartphone industry offers. This month is fascinating as we expect launches from several brands, including Xiaomi, realme, Apple, Samsung, iQOO, and more. So, what can we expect from the upcoming crop of smartphones? Here’s a look at some of the most anticipated launches scheduled for September 2022.

Update (September 14): 

  • Vivo is set to launch a new V-series smartphone called Vivo V25 in India on September 15. As per Mysmartprice, Vivo V25 5G will be priced at Rs 27,999 for the base variant, i.e. 8GB+128GB.
  • Taiwanese smartphone maker ASUS will announce the ROG Phone 6D globally on September 19, 2022.
  • Realme is set to launch GT NEO 3T to its GT NEO series in India on September 16, 2022, at 12:30 PM.
  • Oppo will launch the F21s Pro Series in India on September 15, 2022. The series will include the F21 Pro 4G and the F21 Pro 5G.
  • Oppo will unveil the Oppo K10x in China on September 16 with 67W charging support.

1. POCO M5 4G

The landing page of the POCO M5 is live on Flipkart. It will bring a 6.58-inch 1080p IPS LCD 90Hz display, MediaTek Helio G99 chip, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. This phone will launch on September 5.

2. Redmi 11 Prime 5G/ 4G

Again, the Redmi 11 Prime 4G is a rebranded version of the upcoming POCO M5. The only difference is that the former will be sold via Amazon and the latter via Flipkart. However, the Redmi 11 Prime 5G will have the Dimensity 700 5G chip. These phones will launch on September 6 and be available on Amazon and Mi Store.

3. iPhone 14 Series

Apple has already sent invites for the “Far Out” event that will be held on September 7. Apple is expected to announce four different iPhone 14 models during this event. These models include iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The iPhone 14 and the new 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Plus/Max will have the same specs as the iPhone 13 with minor changes, like new colors. However, the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max will have a new hole-punch display, an upgraded 48MP camera system, and 30W fast charging support. All the models are also expected to come with the rumored “satellite connectivity” feature.

4. iQOO Z6 Lite

iQOO has launched three phones within its Z6 series. The iQOO Z6 is said to join the series with a more affordable price tag of around INR 13,000. Since the complete iQOO Z6 series has been a rebranded Vivo T1 series, iQOO Z6 Lite will be a rebranded version of the existing Vivo T1x. The phone may launch in the second week of September. Plus, the BIS certification indicates that the Indian launch is imminent.

5. Motorola Edge 30 Ultra

The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will be another excellent premium offering from Motorola. The landing page of the phone is live on Flipkart. It will supposedly pack a 6.73-inch 1080p OLED 144Hz display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, 200MP primary camera, 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 4500mAh battery with 125W fast charging support. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will launch on September 8 for INR 69,999 (expected).

6. Xiaomi 12T Pro

Xiaomi’s other new flagship, the Xiaomi 12T Pro, is expected to launch in the last week of September. The phone will pack a 6.67-inch 1080p OLED 144Hz display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, 108MP primary camera, 20MP front camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. An affordable version of the same will be launched as the Xiaomi 12T. We can expect the price to start at around INR 50,000 in India.

7. Vivo X80 Pro+

Vivo had released its X80 series earlier in India. Vivo plans to release another phone, the Vivo X80 Pro+, into the series. This phone will be announced in September 2022. It will pack a 6.8-inch 1440p OLED 120Hz display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, 50MP (main) + 48MP (ultra-wide) + 12MP (telephoto) + 8MP quad-camera setup, 20MP front camera, and a 4700mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The expected price of the Vivo X80 Pro+ is INR 69,999.

8. Realme GT Neo 3T

Realme is also launching a mid-tier flagship phone in September. This phone will be the Realme GT Neo 3T. It will feature a 120Hz E4 AMOLED display, Snapdragon 870 chip, 64MP + 8MP + 2MP rear camera setup, 16MP front camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The expected price of the Realme GT Neo 3T is INR 32,999.
