Samsung has scheduled its Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5. The company will likely launch the Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and Galaxy Z Fold 2 at the event.

Vivo has posted a teaser video on social media, which reveals that Vivo S7 will be unveiled in China on August 3. The teaser video also shows the device’s sleek body design.

Realme V5 will go official on August 3 (11:30 a.m. IST) with a quad rear camera setup and MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC.

Xiaomi has confirmed that they will announce the affordable Redmi 9 in India on August 4.

Rumores suggests that Huawei Enjoy 20, Motorola One Fusion, Poco C3, Google Pixel 4A, Asus Zenfone 7, and Moto G9 Plus may be launched in August 2020.

Google’s new smartphone, Pixel 4A, is spotted on the list of FCC. According to a tipster, Jon Prosser, the Pixel 4A will launch on August 3. The tipster further claimed that the Pixel 4A would come in two colors- Just Black and Barely Blue. The device will be 4G based and is expected to come with a Snapdragon 730 processor. Under the hood, it will have 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. Google said to offer a Full HD+ OLED display. Furthermore, the rear camera may have a 12.2 MP+8 MP combo, and for selfies, it may have a single lens of 8MP. The size of the display may be 5.81 inches. Recently, we have also spotted Pixel 4a on the NCC certification database that reveals battery capacity as 3140 mAh and charger wattage as 18W.

Furthermore, an alleged Asus Zenfone 7 also surfaced on the Geekbench listing codenamed as Asus ZF. The listing shed some light on a few specifications about the phone. The Zenfone 7 will likely come with a Snapdragon 865 chipset along with 16GB of RAM. A much lesser variant with 8GB of RAM also surfaced on the listing with the same codename. The listing also reveals that it will run on Android 10. Moreover, users may get a 64MP+13MP rear camera and a 20MP selfie camera. The device may have 128GB internal storage with a 5000mAh battery. Under the hood, it may have a 6.4-inch IPS display. Till now, no official date has been announced, but some rumors suggest that the phone may be launched in August 2020.

1. OnePlus Nord

Update: OnePlus Nord has now announced the Snapdragon 765G chipset.

The device was previously rumored to be known as the OnePlus Z, but now the company has confirmed that it will be called the OnePlus Nord. OnePlus Nord is going with the Snapdragon 765G SoC instead of MediaTek, which was previously rumored. The device is allegedly to have an AMOLED screen with a punch hole on the top left with a screen size of 6.5 inches with a smooth refresh rate of 90Hz. Two phone variants may be available in the market with 8GB or 12 GB of RAM and internal storage of 128GB or 256 GB. The device may also have a 4000mAh battery with a Type-C USB port for 30W fast charging. The device will come with pre-installed Android 10-based OxygenOS 10. The device may have a dual selfie camera (32MP+8MP) and a quad read camera (48MP+16MP+2MP+depth or color sensor). Since the device is a mid-range phone, the price may be around Rs 25000 more or less. The company has confirmed via Twitter that it will unveil OnePlus Nord on July 21, 2020.

2. Poco M2 Pro

Update: Poco M2 Pro is now official with a starting price tag of Rs 13,999 for a 4GB+64GB model.

The brand is known to bring flagship specs to a low-range device. The legendary Indian brand Poco is all ready for its third smartphone launch this year, which will be dubbed Poco M2 Pro. Like the previous ones, this device will not be a Redmi rebranded version but will be an exclusive device only for the Indian market, the Poco Executive assured. The device is likely to have a Snapdragon 720G SoC chipset, which is similar to Redmi Note 9 Pro. The customers are not happy with the rebranded smartphones. But we can’t jump to any conclusions yet. This exclusive smartphone will send good news to Indian users. Apart from the chipset, no further specifications surfaced online. Poco India has confirmed via Twitter that the upcoming Poco M2 Pro smartphone will arrive in India on July 7, 2020.

3. Asus ROG Phone 3

Update: ROG Phone 3 goes official with Snapdragon 865+ SoC.

The successor of Asus ROG Phone 2 is expected to launch in July 2020, but no official date is out yet. The device is rumored to have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with refresh rate varying from 120Hz to 144Hz. On top of it, since it is a gaming device, it will have the Snapdragon 865 chipset for sure and maybe paired with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM. The internal storage of the phone may be up to 512GB, along with a 6000mAh battery with 30W brick. To follow the trend, it will have a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a third one for depth sensors. The price of the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 3 is likely to start from Rs.50000 in India.

4. Moto G 5G Plus

Update: Motorola G 5G Plus is launched in Europe as the company’s most affordable 5G phone.

An event is set up for July 7, starting at 3 p.m. CET or 6.30 p.m. in India. Till now, it is not known about the event, but they are likely to unveil the Motorola G 5G Plus since it is recently FCC certified. A 5000 mAh battery, 20W charger, and 5G support are confirmed, but no further details are out. But some rumors suggest that Snapdragon 765 will power the phone. Also, RAM of up to 6GB and internal storage of up to 128GB is rumored. The device may have a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 90Hz display along with Android 10. For the selfies, a primary camera of 8MP and a 2MP depth sensor may be paired up. For the back, it may boast a 48MP primary camera along with 16MP, 8MP, and 5MP lenses. The device’s price is expected to be €399 in Europe around Rs 34000 in India. The official date is not out, but we expect to launch the device somewhere between mid-July and the end of July 2020.

5. Lenovo Legion Phone Duel

Update: Lenovo’s gaming phone is now official.

As per a recent Weibo post by Lenovo, official news mentions the launch of the Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone pop-up in a teaser poster. The phone will officially launch in July, but no official date is out. This gaming is unique in many ways. According to a teaser video, the phone has an odd placement of rear cameras and a selfie camera. The rear cameras (64MP+16MP) will be in the middle back of the phone, and the selfie camera (20MP) will be on the side. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 865 with 5G network support. As per reports, the phone may have a 90W charger with a 5000mAh battery, gaming accessories, and liquid cooling technology, which will minimize throttling while maximizing performance. The phone may come with a 6.7-inch 144Hz refresh rate display. The phone may come in two variants, viz. 128GB 8GB RAM and 512GB 12GB RAM.

6. Honor X10 Max

Update: Honor X10 Max is now official.

The official arrival of this device is out, and it’s right around the corner. The phone will be unveiled on July 2, 2020. As per an official Weibo poster, the Honor X10 Max will come with 5G connectivity with a waterdrop notch selfie camera and a side fingerprint sensor. The full specs are yet to be revealed, but one of the Weibo leakers posted a spec sheet, which is likely to be official. The list suggests that it may have a MediaTek Dimensity 800 and 7.09-inch Full HD+ display. It will pack a battery of 5000mAh with 22.5W fast charging. The phone will come with Android 10 with Magic UI 3.1.1 skin. Furthermore, the rear camera includes a 48MP main camera and an 8MP selfie shooter.

Realme C11

Update: Realme C11 is now official.

The Realme C11 is all set to launch on June 30 and will be available for sale on July 1. The retail site Lazada teased the device along with some official specs. The device will come with the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, earlier confirmed by Realme, and the retail site Lazada confirms more specifications. The Realme C11 is exclusively available for the Lazada site. The phone will be launched in two variants viz. 2GB+32GB and 3GB+32GB. The site reveals that it will have a 6.5-inch waterdrop display. The device boasts a 13MP+2MP rear camera and a large 5000mAh battery. It will run on Android 10OS. Moreover, no fingerprint sensor is detected on the device. Till now, there has been no news about the price of the device. We will have to wait until July 1.
