Upcoming 5G Phones in November 2022: Xiaomi 13, Poco X5, Oppo Reno 9

Update November 21:

The Vivo X90 series will announce on November 22 in China. Vivo X90 Pro+ is said to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while the X90 Pro may pack MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. The X90 Pro+ will sport a Quad rear camera setup consisting 50MP f/1.75 primary unit, a 50MP f/.6 portrait unit, a 48MP f/2.2 ultrawide unit, and a 64MP f/3.5 telephoto unit.

Update November 12:

Realme will launch the Realme 10 Pro and Realme 10 Pro+ in China on November 17. The launch event will begin at 2 PM GMT+8 and will be live-streamed via Weibo and other video-streaming platforms in China.

Infinix HOT 20 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 810 6nm processor may launch in India on November 30.

Honor will reportedly launch Honor 80 series and Magic V2 on November 23.

Xiaomi 13 series is expected to launch in China on November 19, along with MIUI 14.

These 5G Phones are expected to Launch in November 2022

We will see a lot of 5G phones launching in November 2022. These will include the realme 10 series, the OPPO Reno 9 series, the POCO X5 5G, the Moto X40, and more. Let’s take a closer look at these smartphones.

1. Realme 10 5G and 10 Pro+ 5G

The realme 10 series is officially launching on November 9 in the global market. Rumours say the realme 10 5G models could also launch on November 9, 2022.

As for the specifications, the realme 10 5G will have a 6.7” 120Hz LCD screen, an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz, 108MP + 2MP dual-camera setup on the rear, a 16MP selfie camera, a 4870mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The expected price is around ₹15,000 in India.

On the other hand, the realme 10 Pro+ 5G will have a 120Hz Curved OLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 1080 5G chipset, 108MP OIS primary camera, 4890mAh battery with 67W fast charging, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is expected to launch at around ₹25,000 in India. Both smartphones will run on realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13.

2. Xiaomi 13 Series

The Xiaomi 13 series is also expected to launch in November 2022. It will bring many new features like a 200MP primary camera, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, and 210W fast charging. These smartphones are expected to launch by the end of November 2022. The Xiaomi 13 is said to have a 6.38-inch curved OLED 120Hz display, 8 Gen 2 chipset, 50MP (Sony IMX 989) + 50MP ultra-wide camera + macro lens on the rear, and a 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is expected to have a 6.7” curved E6 AMOLED 120Hz display, 8 Gen 2 chip, 50MP (Sony IMX 989) + 50MP ultra-wide camera + 50MP telephoto on the rear, 32MP front camera, and a 4800mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The price of the Xiaomi 13 Pro is expected to be around ₹65,000 in India.

3. Oppo A98 5G

Oppo is also set to launch many 5G smartphones in November 2022. One of those smartphones is the OPPO A98 5G. The OPPO A98 5G is expected to have a 6.67” 1080p AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 778G processor, 108MP + 2MP rear camera setup, a 16MP front camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Unfortunately, the smartphone will run on ColorOS 12 based on Android 12, not Android 13. The OPPO A98 5G is expected to launch at around ₹29,990 in India. The exact launch date is expected to be announced very soon.

4. Oppo A58 5G

Another OPPO 5G smartphone launching in November 2022 is the OPPO A58 5G. It is said to have a 6.56-inch 720p LCD screen with a water-drop notch, MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chip, 50MP + 2MP rear camera setup, 8MP front camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. As per a leaked listing, the OPPO A58 5G will start at CNY 1399 in China and will be available for sale beginning November 11. We can also expect the Indian launch in the same month.

5. Oppo Reno 9 Series

OPPO will also be launching its new highest-end smartphones in November. The series will include OPPO Reno 9 and Reno 9 Pro smartphones. The OPPO Reno 9 is said to have a 6.7” 1080p 120Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 778G chip, 50MP + 8MP + 2MP rear camera setup, 16MP front camera, and a 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. The OPPO Reno 9 is expected to launch at around ₹30,000 in India.

On the other hand, the OPPO Reno 9 Pro is expected to have a 6.7” 1080p 120Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 50MP + 12MP + 5MP rear camera setup, 32MP front camera, and a 4700mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Both smartphones will come with ColorOS 13, based on Android 13. The OPPO Reno 9 Pro will launch at around ₹50,000 in India.

6. Poco X5 5G

POCO is also gearing up its launch for the POCO X5 5G. The phone was leaked earlier with the codename “Redwood.” The POCO X5 5G is expected to have a 120Hz LCD panel. In addition, it will be reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 778G+. It is expected to be priced at ₹19,999 in India. It will be launched by the end of this month.

7. Motorola Moto X40

Motorola is also likely to launch its 5G smartphone in November. This will be the company’s highest-end smartphone to date. The Motorola Moto X40 is expected to feature a 6.7” curved 165Hz AMOLED, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 50MP + 50MP + 12MP rear camera setup, 60MP front camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 68W fast charging. The phone is expected to launch in China this month, followed by a broader rollout in global markets by Q1 2023.
