Ulefone Armor 3W and Armor 3WT Launched with 10300 mAh Battery

Two new rugged phones have been announced by Ulefone, one of them with walkie-talkie functionalities

Ulefone has been on the news for quite a few launches these days and today we have another two new devices coming from them. They are the Armor 3W and Armor 3WT. These two devices are successors to the previously launched Armor and Armor 3T. Now the Armor series from Ulefone is known for providing rugged phones, targeting specifically on adventurers and travellers. These two devices are no exception and they are built to survive even in the toughest of environmental conditions.

Ulefone Armor 3W and Armor 3WT Specifications

Under the hood of these two devices, we have the very capable Helio P70 Soc which is not slack by any standards, but it is not close to the premium flagship ones either. You can run day to day tasks easily with this processor, however, gaming graphics settings need to be set at medium for lag-free performance.

For multitasking, we have 6GB of RAM on both these devices which brings them equal to all the best phones out there in terms of memory. For storage, we have 64GB of internal storage with Android Pie running on board.

Carrying on with the similarities we see monstrous 10300 mAh battery on both these devices, and being Armor series devices they live up to that title in terms of battery. Even with moderate usage, these should easily last for five days at the minimum. And to top it up, we get an 18W fast charger which will take its time since it quite an unrealistic battery size.

These are not camera focused phones at all so there are no dual triple or quad-camera setup at the back. Instead, we get a decent 21-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera on both of them.

In terms of security, we get traditional fingerprint scanners on both of them with 2D facial scanning too.

We have support for LTE here on both of them and even dual VoLTE as all the necessary global LTE bands are present here on both these devices.

As of now, we have seen that the Armor 3W and Armor 3WT are identical in terms of basic smartphone hardware and software. So where is the difference? The difference lies in the fact that the Armor 3WT offers walkie-talkie functionality on top of being a very capable smartphone.

There is an antenna that comes with the Armor 3WT which lets its user use the device as a Walkie-Talkie if needed. The antenna is detachable and can be removed or fixed as per our needs.

Pricing & Availability

The pricing and availability of these nature proof phones are not yet out but soon there will be some news on them from Ulefone. As of now, we can expect them to launch in China first and then maybe after a couple of months a few other country residents will also get their hands on one or both of these devices.
