The above-listed devices currently do not support the new battery percentage feature despite running the latest iOS 16 software. So, if you have one of these devices, you cannot get the battery percentage on the status bar of your iPhone.
However, there’s some good news for you. iOS 16.1 point update will bring battery percentage to all iPhones with Face ID, such as the iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, and iPhone 13 Mini. The 16.1 Beta 1 update is currently available for registered developers, and the stable build could be released next month.
